If you haven’t seen Goodfellas in a while, you might wonder why we would choose it as a theme for Valentine’s Day. Isn’t it over-the-top violent? Aren’t the lead characters trapped in a loveless marriage? Aren’t Saturdays for the girlfriends? Etcetera.
The truth is that it’s a perfect foundation for a fun Valentine’s Day dinner, for two reasons: first, there is no denying that style oozes from this masterpiece; and second, they eat and drink All. The. Time. Even in jail.
Join us for your choice of seatings on Saturday, February 13 or Sunday, February 14 and enjoy an entire evening inspired by this great film and by Italian-American cuisine and culture. After all, Chef Matthew is half a quarter Italian (only the good quarter!). Film-inspired or cocktail dress is encouraged.
